The Dunman High School String Ensemble was formed in 1994. Under the guidance of its conductor, Miss Marietta Ku, the String Ensemble has been participating in the biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central Judging since 1995.
The Senior High Chamber Ensemble was founded in 2007 in a bid to continue the fine tradition of DHSSE as Dunman High's Integrated Programme becomes fully implemented. Driven by a shared fervour for music, the Senior High Chamber Ensemble works both independently as well as with the main ensemble. It strives to take music making to a higher level and simultaneously, reach out to a more mature audience.
