Hi guys, do remember to bring your full attire tmr! For the ladies, your gown, court shoes and chokers. Only black hairbands allowed! For the men, full black attire, tie, BLACK SOCKS and black leather shoes. EVERYBODY PLEASE TRIM YOUR NAILS.
You guys should start meditating now. This is how you go about doing it. Switch off the lights in a room and close your eyes. In your mind, run through the entire event, from the point where you walk up the stage and play both pieces in your mind, complete with dynamics and everything. Picture how you're gonna sit, smile, and move, and how you will walk on and off the stage GRACEFULLY.
Present yourselves well, and half the battle is won. Look good, play well. Please remember to move A LOT cause your actions are diminished by the time they reach the audience. The lowest your violins should go is 90 degrees, play it proud alright?
